Starry Lumiere Labs is an independent color-grading and finishing studio in Bengaluru, founded by cinematographer and colorist Shivshankar Noorambada. It is the finishing end of the same practice that shoots the film — which is why a grade here starts from the intent that was set on set, not from scratch.
What happens here
From the graded look to the delivered master.
- 01Color grading
- Look development and the grade itself — building the film's color from the material as shot, shot by shot, until the whole reel reads as one image.
- 02Finishing
- Bringing the graded picture together into a finished timeline: conform, consistency across the cut, and the final picture pass.
- 03Mastering
- Producing the final master the film is delivered from, once the grade is locked and approved.
- 04Deliverables
- Preparing delivery-ready outputs — including DCP / QUBE packages — to the specification a release requires.
